Religious School 3-13

Religious School; Sundays from 9:30 - 11:30 am

 

AGES 3-5

Gagalim is Religious School for ages 3-5 and is taught by a Temple Member.  The focus of this group is on holidays, which is taught utilizing music, stories, and craft.  Parents stay with the children for this class.

AGES 6-13

Rabbi weekends are for students ages 6-13.  The Rabbi conducts a service and/or prayer and discusses a topic or Bible story of his choice.

 Religious School for students ages 6-13 are lead by Temple volunteers.  The students spend one hour learning Hebrew and one hour learning cultural/ethical subject matter.  Hebrew classes are divided into two groups: Hebrew I are Gagalim graduates or children who do not yet know the Hebrew letters, and Hebrew II, that covers all of the other children.

Bar/Bat Mitzvah Students 

Bar/Bat Mitzvah students attend Sunday school and are tutored outside of class by a Temple member and the Rabbi.
